Description
Maesmawr Farmhouse is a two-storey building with a three-window facade, finished in painted pebbledash and facing northwest. It features a slate roof and pebbledash chimney stacks, with the larger stack located to the right, aligned with the original entrance. The gables are above a 16-pane sash window that has architraves. The main entrance is positioned to the left of center and consists of a half-glazed door, flanked by similar small-pane sash windows. There is also a modern small-pane window in the projecting bay at the right end. The farmhouse has an overall swept roof verandah supported by decorative iron uprights.
The rear, facing southeast, has three windows, primarily consisting of two-light small-pane casement windows, with a 12-pane sash window on the first floor to the right. There is a gabled porch to the left of center, featuring deep overlights and a triangular-headed boarded door. The chimney breast projects from the right gable end, while the left gable end facing the road is plain and whitewashed. At the rear, there is a small forecourt enclosed by a low rubble wall that curves inward at the gated entry to the farmyard.
