Description

The Hollies Cottage is a two-storey building from the early 19th century, featuring a four-window front made of painted roughcast. To the left, there is a slightly advanced one-window lean-to, and to the right, a possibly later stepped-up one-window range. The cottage has a slate roof with dentil eaves on the right side and two red brick chimney stacks. The central section includes small acutely pointed casement windows with marginal glazing bars, while the larger Gothick windows in the right-hand range have less ornate glazing. The lean-to range has a simple casement with cambered heads and incorporates a boarded door. The main entrance features a six-panel door that is partially glazed. There are no windows at the rear of the cottage.
