Description

Llywy Cottage is a 2-storey, 2-window cottage featuring roughcast walls, a slate roof, and a central blue-brick chimney stack. The windows are small-pane iron-frame casements with Gothic glazing bars, typical of the Abbey Cwmhir Estate. The front of the cottage includes 2-light mullioned windows with hood moulds and sill bands. The entrance is located in a lean-to that is set back in the left gable end and features a panelled door. There is a corresponding lean-to in the right gable end, which was formerly the entrance to the right-hand cottage, and it has a 2-light casement window. Small replacement windows are positioned above each lean-to.
