The front is symmetrical with a central entrance that has a planked door set in a small porch with a stone lintel. The cottage has small two-light casement windows with architraves and stone sills, with the upper storey windows extending up to the eaves. There is an adjoining single-storey range to the west, constructed of rubble masonry and topped with a corrugated iron roof. Access to the interior was not available at the time of inspection on December 11, 1997.
