Description

Felindolau is a 19th-century building constructed with rubble and squared quoins, topped with a slate roof that features deep eaves and bargeboards. The central chimney stack, rebuilt for the 1839 section, has diagonally set flues on a rendered square base, while a renewed brick stack is located on the right gable. The facade, which dates to 1839, has three bays and is symmetrical around a full-height projecting gabled porch. The porch contains a 20th-century half-glazed door with leaded latticed lights and a cambered stone voussoired head. Above the door is a four-light timber transom and mullion window, also with latticed leaded lights and a stone sill. On the ground floor, there are cruciform windows on either side of the porch, with the vertical portion glazed. The ground floor windows match the door and are also found in a later bay, which features a brick cambered head. The upper windows rise to gabled dormers and have single-pane latticed leaded lights, with their heads obscured by rendering and stone sills. The date "1839," which was apparently above the left dormer, is no longer visible. The right end of the building is blank, while the left end has a two-light latticed leaded casement on each storey, with stone voussoired cambered heads and a stone sill above, and concrete below. The rear has 20th-century glazing and a small stone built-outshut.

Inside, there is a single flight stick-baluster stair located off the centre room, featuring square newels and balusters with vertical reeding. The roof is a collar beam type with sawn and adzed trusses.
