Description

The Old Hall is a two-storey building with a hipped slate roof and two brick chimneys. It features painted roughcast rendering, a smooth plinth band, and band courses. The front elevation is low and broad, with five windows and a central gable that contains a round-headed attic window. On the first floor, there are twelve-pane hornless sash windows arranged in a shallow grouping of 1+3+1. The central doorway has glazed double doors with a lamp above, while doorways at each end have six-panelled doors.

On the left side, there is a smooth-rendered wing with traces of scribed 'coursing'. This wing has two twelve-pane sash windows on the first floor and a panelled door under a modern canopy on the ground floor, with a square casement window to its left. On the right side, there is a wing made of painted rubble with a string course, featuring one square window with a modern frame and shutters. There is also a later 19th-century extension with a half-glazed door under a canopy.

Inside, the building retains timber-framed partitions and evidence of former partitions, such as mortices in the exposed ceiling beams. All three dwellings within the building have identical stairs that are likely from the early 19th century.
