Description
Vaynor House is an earlier 19th-century house that stands three storeys tall and is two windows wide. It features rubble masonry that is painted on the front and side. The low-pitched slate roof has a stone chimney located on the left (east) side.
On the second floor, there are two square horizontally-sliding sash windows set beneath the eaves. The first floor has two 9-pane sash windows, while the ground floor includes one 9-pane sash window on the right and a larger 16-pane sash window on the left, which lights the principal living room. The front door is panelled, and all ground and first floor openings are set under cambered brick arches. The openings are arranged symmetrically around the door but are offset to the right to accommodate a deep fireplace.
An external chimney stack is present at the gable end. At the rear, there have been alterations to the window arrangement, but the second floor retains two almost square 12-pane fixed windows.
