Description
The terrace walls, steps, garden walls, gatepiers, and gates at Trewyn House are notable features from the 18th century. They are constructed from red sandstone rubble, with some areas featuring red brick and ashlar gatepiers. The square gate piers have cornices and are adorned with carved stone vases that display swags. The iron double gates, which likely date back to the 18th century, are flanked by brick dwarf walls that are topped with spear railings, each main stanchion also featuring vases. The side walls of the courtyard garden are made of rubble with triangular coping. Additionally, there are two terraces that include retaining walls and flights of steps between them.
