Description
Nos. 48 and 50 Monnow Street are two adjoining buildings with a rendered and painted front, likely over brick, and a Welsh slate roof. They feature a double depth central entrance plan and stand three storeys tall with three windows. The ground floor is occupied by shops that have plain pilasters and a fascia. On the first floor, there are 6 over 6 pane sash windows, with the outer ones having additional half panes on either side. The upper floor windows are 3 over 6 panes, similar to those below. The roof is plain and has rendered stacks on either gable. The rear elevation has not been seen. The interior was not inspected during the resurvey.
