Description
Nos. 92 and 94 Monnow Street are three-storey buildings with a double depth plan and rear wings. They are rendered and painted, likely over brick, and feature a Welsh slate roof with a red brick chimney stack. Each building has one window on each floor. The ground floor has a Regency-style character, with small paned shop windows on either side of a central entrance leading to the rear. No. 92 has a 6 x 4 pane shop window, while No. 94 has a 5 x 4 pane shop window, with doors on the right for No. 92 and on the left for No. 94, all of which are glazed in small panes and date from the late 20th century. There is a continuous fascia above the shop windows. The upper floor windows are all 2 over 2 pane sashes with stone cills, and the second floor windows are smaller. The roof has a low pitch with a stack on the left gable. The rear elevation has not been seen. The interior has not been inspected during the resurvey.
