Description

Nos. 96-100 (even) Monnow Street Rendered and painted brick with a Welsh slate roof. Double depth plan. Three storeys and attics, three windows, one to each property. Plain C20 shopfronts to Nos. 96 and 98 with 2-pane windows and a deep fascia, No. 100 on right side has a hooded doorway with 6-panel door with four glazed panels and overlight. All windows are 2 over 2 pane sashes with keyed heads, the second floor ones are smaller. Cogged eaves cornice, roof half-hipped to left over No. 96, two flat topped dormers (Nos. 98 & 100) with 2 over 2 pane sashes, ridge stack to the right of each property. The rear elevation is also rendered and retains some 6 over 6 pane sashes. Rear wing to No. 100.
