Description
The entrance gate and gatepiers at Court Farm are made of cast and wrought iron. The gatepiers are solid, square-section cast iron, topped with neo-classical urns. Surrounding the piers is a square arrangement of wrought iron posts, which support a wrought iron gate with seven bars. The gate features strainers extending from the corners to the center of both the top and bottom bars. There are cast rosettes at the points where the bars cross, and small vases are placed on the side posts. The gate is designed with rising butts, allowing it to open in both directions.
