Description

Bridge 56 is an accommodation and footpath bridge over the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal. It features a semi-elliptical arch made of voussoirs and is constructed from squared, faced, and coursed stone. The bridge has a parapet with slab coping and curving abutments. The bridge number is located on the south face of the arch, and the towpath runs beneath the bridge arch on the east side.
