Description
The Small Barn at Court Farm is a rectangular structure built from whitewashed rubble stone, topped with a corrugated metal sheet roof, which was previously recorded as having pantiles. Each long wall features three slit vents, with opposed doors at either end. The gable walls also have three vents, including one positioned above in the gable. On the west gable, two of the lower vents are obscured by a scullery outshut, while on the north wall, two vents are hidden by a lean-to brick shed.
Inside, the barn has four hewn triangular trusses and secondary rafters that are mostly intact, although some additional strengthening members have been added. The rear splays of the ventilation slits are also present.
