Description
The Threshing Barn at Home Farm is a 19th-century structure built from roughly coursed rubblestone and topped with a slate roof. The north side features a central threshing entrance flanked by eight tall ventilation slits. To either side of the entrance, there are alternating doors and louvre-ventilated windows, totaling four on the ground floor, along with a boarded door leading to the loft above. The south side is mostly hidden by an attached two-storey building that has a chimney, and there is a substantial stone lean-to attached to the west gable end. Inside, the barn has a loft at the eastern end, a king-post roof, and a slate slab floor.
