Description
The bandstand in Aberdare Park is an octagonal structure made of cast iron, featuring a swept leaded roof topped with an iron finial. It has a shallow valencing along the ironwork cornice, which includes scrolled spandrels. The bandstand is supported by circular columns that are partially fluted and have octagonal bases. The lower sections of each bay are enclosed with iron railings, and there are railed steps on one side. The base of the bandstand is made of red brick, and it sits on a modern concrete pavement.
