Description

The bandstand at Ammanford Park is an octagonal structure built on a brick base with brick steps leading up to it. It features eight slim columns, each topped with capitals and three traceried brackets supporting a flat boarded roof. Every second column serves as a downpipe connected to a cast-iron gutter. Iron railings are placed between the columns on five sides, with a gate located on the southwest side, while the three front sides on the northeast are left open. The roof is adorned with red terracotta ridges and a slim finial. An inscription on the gate indicates that the bandstand is a memorial to Evan Evans, Chemist.
