Description

The Art Department of Atlantic College is a building constructed with local lias limestone rubble walls and a Welsh slate roof featuring a red tile ridge and coping on the gable ends, along with a stack on the north-east gable. The main elevation on the north-west side includes, from left to right, a single light window above a former hayloft opening, a pointed head doorway, a late 20th-century four-light window, a three-light window, and a later 19th-century or early 20th-century pointed arch chamfered doorway with a door that has coverstrips. There is also a modern vehicular entry and three small slatted vents above. The north-east gable has a tall segmental headed doorway with stone voussoirs. The south-west elevation features four windows, likely from the early 20th century, with two lights each, and one window with three lights. The south-west gable wall is faced with pebbledash and includes a two-light leaded window, probably from the 19th century, with a dripstone in the gable apex. The interior details were not available during the resurvey.
