Description
This cottage is located against the south-east wall of the Churchyard of the Church of St Donat. It features local lias limestone random rubble walls and a Welsh slate roof, complete with a stack at the south-west gable and stone copings. The building is single storey, and there may be a basement at the south-west end.
The front elevation, facing south, includes two single light windows with chamfered frames and a 4-centred arch doorway with a ledged door to the right. There is a flight of steps leading down to the high south-west gable wall, which has a single light window on the main floor. Additionally, there is a single light window that illuminates a fireplace recess in the rear wall, which faces the churchyard.
The interior was not inspected during the resurvey, but a previous description noted a chamfered fireplace with a semi-elliptical head, and likely a garderobe beside it.
