Description
Pentre House is a two-storey building constructed from local rubblestone, which is visible in the gable walls, while the main block is painted and the entrance elevation is smooth rendered. It features a Welsh slate roof with red brick stacks and has a double depth central entry plan. The front facade includes three windows and an additional outhouse wing to the left, which has been incorporated into the main house. The central doorway is recessed and has a panelled door with a plain planted architrave. The windows are 6 over 6 pane sashes with planted external shutters. The roof is plain with gable stacks.
On the right return gable, there is an oriel supported by brackets along with two smaller windows. The left wing is unrendered and features a modern 3-light timber casement on the ground floor, topped by a steeply pitched roof. The left return gable has a modern French window below and a modern casement window in the gable above. The rear elevation of the main block is not visible, and the interior details were not available during the resurvey.
