Description
The cart shed and stable range at Ty Mawr is a building constructed of stone rubble with dressed stone features and a corrugated roof. The southern end consists of a cart shed with three bays, featuring cambered arches made with voussoirs and a keystone, although one arch has been replaced. There is a cambered arched loft entrance at the gable end, but the stone steps leading to it are now missing. The northern section includes five segmental arched doorways with tooled voussoirs and planked stable doors, along with two loft openings. The datestone is now illegible.
Inside, the right side has a flagstone floor, limewashed walls, pegged trusses made of tie beams and collars, and three rows of trenched purlins.
