Description
The outbuilding at Ty Mawr is a range of structures built from colourwashed rubble stone and topped with slate roofs. It consists of two parts: a long cow-shed range on the left and a lofted stable on the right, both aligned under a single ridge line. The stable features a square loft opening at the center beneath the eaves, with a pair of casement windows on the ground floor to the right, and a door alongside a boarded window to the left. There are stone steps leading up to the loft door located on the right end wall, and the openings have brick cambered heads.
The single-storey range on the left has four doors that are spaced irregularly. To the left of the first door, there is an eaves gabled dormer, and a small window is positioned further left. The doors have brick heads, and the second door features a timber lintel with a brick relieving arch.
