Description

Church Farmhouse is a house that has been rendered and features a slate roof with small end stacks. It is two storeys high and has a three-window range. The entrance front is slightly offset to the left and includes three 2-light casements with six panes, all dating from the 20th century. There is a slight forward projection in the wall between the left and centre windows. The ground floor has a 20th-century lean-to across the left and centre, with a 20th-century leaded triple casement window to the right. The front door is located on the ground floor to the left, within the lean-to.

The east end gable has a small loft light. The north garden front features a three-window range, with three 2-light casements on the first floor, the left one set slightly lower. On the ground floor, there is a similar casement window to the left, glazed 20th-century doors to the left of centre, and a 20th-century triple window to the right. There is a lean-to on the west end.

To the southwest, there is an added lofted range that is also rendered, linked at the corner. It has outside steps on the south front left leading to a loft door, and a ground floor half-glazed door at the centre. A 20th-century slate-roofed shelter spans the front. The east end gable features a loft window.

Although not accessible at the time of the survey, it is reported to have a post and panel partition between the hall and passage, chamfered beams with stepped hollow stops, and moulded square joists. There is a deep gable end fireplace with a stone lintel.
