Description

The churchyard cross is situated on a broad square two-step medieval platform, featuring a lower step with chamfered nosing and an upper stone-flagged surface. The medieval square cross-base is broached to an octagonal shape, with humped broaches and an incised bead-mould outlining the chamfered top. The 20th-century tapering square shaft is made of tooled stone and supports a red sandstone Latin cross, which may be a reused element.
