Description
The cowshed at Lower Maestorglwydd, dated 1677, is an L-shaped building that adjoins a barn. It is constructed of stone and features a corrugated asbestos roof. The structure is one storey high with a loft and includes a sturdy doorframe on the north side, which has the inscription "1677 WG" on the timber lintel. There are additional original timber-lintelled openings also facing north. Inside, the roof remains original, supported by tiebeams and diagonal struts to the principal rafters.
