Description

The barn at Llwynmaddy is a substantial structure built from rubble and now features a corrugated roof. Located uphill, the cartshed has a pair of segmental dressed stone arches with keystones. The barn doors are currently missing. The cowhouse includes three boarded doors that face the farmyard and two additional doors at the rear that serve the feed and muck passages. The 8-bay barn is supported by queen-strut collared trusses with cambered ties.
