Description

The lychgate at the south side of the churchyard of St Eigon's Church is a small structure made of stone, dating from the 19th century. It features boarded gables and a stone-slate roof, both of which have been renewed or repaired. The roof is constructed of oak and includes collared rafter-couples with halved joints that are nailed. This lychgate is relatively unaltered, maintaining much of its original character.
