Description
Llwynmaddy Farmhouse is a one-storey building with semi-attics, constructed of stone that is partly lime-washed, and topped with a corrugated asbestos roof. It features stone chimneys at both gables. On the eastern side, there are two original ground-floor windows with stone labels; one has been altered into a door, while the other retains its three-light chamfered mullions and transoms, likely original. The other windows on the western side are 19th and 20th-century casements set beneath concrete lintels. The northern and southern gables have dovecotes with four and five holes, respectively, and the northern truss has an exposed tiebeam.
There is a mid-20th-century conservatory on the eastern side with a perspex roof, and a modern kitchen addition on the western side made of calcium silicate bricks with a felt roof. Inside, the main room features a fireplace with a timber lintel, and the stairs are adjacent. The ceiling beams have pyramidal stops, and the partition between the inner rooms has been removed, leaving a plank and muntin partition that is now concealed.
