Description
The stables at Penyrwrlodd are a two-storey structure built from stone rubble, topped with a single-pitch roof made of asbestos sheets. The building features a three-course platband, and the upper windows are adorned with stone hoods. Most of the front windows on both floors have been extensively blocked or converted into hayloft doors, while two lower windows retain ovolo moulding, similar to that found on the 18th-century house nearby. There is also a similar window at the rear. An inscription panel, which is now illegible, was located nearby, and the adjacent building is dated 1706. The attic floor has been removed, and there is a plain fireplace at attic level.
