Description
The barn at Llwyn-celyn Farm is constructed from random sandstone rubble and features a pantiled roof. On the right side, there are central cart doors flanked by plain walling. To the right, the wall is partially hidden by a later extension that has a lower roof line. On the left side, there is a second pair of cart doors, after which the barn wall is concealed by a later lean-to. The rear elevation is not visible.
Inside, the original barn has a seven-bay principal rafter roof with two tiers of butt purlins and a complete ridgepiece. The trusses on either side of the threshing floor include tie beams. The later extension of the barn features triangular trusses.
