Description
The barn at Nantllanerch is constructed of stone rubble and features a Welsh slate roof. It has lean-tos on the right side of the courtyard front, on the left gable end, on the right side of the farmyard front, and a wing extending from the left farmyard front, with some areas covered by corrugated roofs. The barn includes central double doors with a hood, one ventilation slit, and other small rectangular openings. There is a loft opening with timber mullions on the left gable end and a pitching door on the right gable end, along with a datestone located below. Inside, the threshing floor is made of flags and stone kerbs, and there is a stepped-down bay that leads downhill. The roof is supported by pegged collar and tie trusses.
