Description
Nantllanerch farmhouse is a 17th-century building made of painted and limewashed stone rubble, topped with an artificial slate roof. It features overhanging eaves and stacks with cornices at both ends and along the ridge. The wide external stack on the left is stepped. The main part of the farmhouse has a roughly central gabled porch and an asymmetrically arranged three-window range of nine-pane hopper windows on the first floor. The ground floor includes a four-pane window to the left and a twelve-pane sash window to the right. To the left of the main unit, there is a separate doorway with a timber lintel and a wide boarded door, along with four-pane windows on each floor. All windows have very narrow stone sills. The attached farm range has three doorways, a single ventilation slit, and a loft opening. In front of the house, there is a shallow walled courtyard. The interior of the house was not inspected during the survey on January 20, 1998. The farm range has a partly uncovered roof featuring collar and tie trusses.
