Description
Newton Lodge is a two-storey house built in the Arts-and-Crafts style, constructed from painted rubble stone and topped with a Welsh slate roof. The main facade features three bays, with the center bay projecting forward. The windows are 2-light oak casements that have ovolo mouldings and leaded lattices. The entrance is located at the side of the house. Notable exterior features include downpipes with dated hopper heads from 1907 and two chimney stacks. The right side elevation has a small rear wing and remains unaltered, while the left side elevation has undergone some changes, including the addition of modern windows, as has the rear of the house. The interior was not seen during the resurvey.
