Description

The Wainhouse at Lower Maertorglwydd is a 19th-century structure built of coursed stone, topped with a corrugated iron roof. The front, facing west, features a pair of elliptical arches and a datestone above that reads '18-4', which is believed to refer to the year 1824, although the style of the datestone and lettering appears to be later. Inside, the roof consists of three bays supported by kingpost trusses.
