2 Belmont Road

2 Belmont Road has origins dating back to the 18th century. It was originally a single house but was divided into two properties, likely in the early 19th century. The building is three stories tall and features a nearly symmetrical front with four windows. The exterior is made of coursed rubble with a cement-render plinth, and it has a slate roof with raised eaves at the front. Originally, the building had two stories and an attic, with rubble end chimney stacks that have weathercoursing.

The first and second floors have small pane casement windows that are hinged at the center. On the ground floor to the left, there is a small pane sliding sash window, which is now fixed, along with a tall railed window box holder. To the right, there is a modern small pane shop window with a timber lintel, while the other windows feature voussoir lintels. The central entrance has double doors with fielded panels, flanked by taller Regency doorcases that have reeded pilasters, panelled reveals, and four-panel doors, with the right door being partially glazed. There is also a boarded cellar opening to the right.

At the rear, there are various sash, modern, and casement windows with timber lintels, and boarded double doors in the center flanked by taller windows. The property includes rubble outbuildings and a modern extension.
