Description
The Pin Up Shop is a two-storey building with an attic, featuring a rendered front and a plinth that supports a timber-framed structure. The ground floor has been built over in stone. It has a slate roof with panelled bargeboards, complete with a pendant and finial. The attic includes a triangular-headed window with a casement, while the first floor has flush frame horned sash windows, and the ground floor center has a recessed six-pane sash window. The entrance consists of a half-glazed double door under a lean-to hood that extends to the right along the side of the shop.
The single-storey and attic section of the shop is positioned forward to the right, showcasing a gabled front made of painted bull-nosed rubble with a plinth and brick dressings. It also has a slate roof, a stock brick chimney stack, and similar bargeboards. The entrance features panelled doors beneath a corbelled lean-to hood.
Inside Tredegar House, the timber box-frame is partly exposed, and the roof construction is simple, lacking a collar or tie.
