Description
41 Lion Street is a 2-storey building with an attic, featuring an asymmetrical rubble front. To the left, there is a lower 2-storey rendered section that slightly protrudes and includes a brick chimney stack. The building has a slate roof and plain bargeboards. The first floor has tripartite horned sash windows with brick voussoirs. The Victorian shop front includes fascia end brackets and panelled pilasters, along with a splayed bay window on the left that has horned sash glazing.
Inside the grocer's shop, there are stop-chamfered beams. Above the shop, there is a separate flat accessible from No 40, which retains chamfered beams and post and panel partitions, with the main posts widening below the tie beam.
