Description

40 Lion Street is a 2-storey building with a 2-window rendered front. It features a slate roof that is continuous with No 41 and has brick chimney stacks. The building has sash windows and a shop front that includes fascia end brackets and a splayed entrance on the left. There are half-glazed doors leading to the shop and a 4-panelled door that provides access to the flats above. The right end of the building is made of whitewashed rubble, which is visible in the cross passage and at the rear.
