Description

S.T. & H.M. Hyton, Gents Outfitters is a two-storey building with a basement and a four-storey front finished in scribed render. The roof is slate with covered eaves and a brick stack located at the centre rear. The first floor features moulded timber architraves with later four-pane sash windows, along with one sash window on the ground floor to the right, positioned above a boarded basement entrance. The central shop front has double bays with pilasters, later tiled stallrisers, a bracket cornice, a plain entablature, a flat-headed entrance, and a glazed door topped with a fanlight. The left side of the building is roughcast, while the right side has a brick extension with a half hipped roof.
