Description
S.T. & H.M. Huyton, Gents Outfitters is a two-storey building with a basement and a four-storey front finished in scribed render. It has a slate roof with covered eaves and a brick stack located at the centre rear. The building features moulded timber architraves and has later four-pane sash windows on the first floor, as well as one on the ground floor above a boarded basement entrance. The central shop front is double-bayed, supported by pilasters, and includes later tiled stallrisers, a bracket cornice, a plain entablature, a flat-headed entrance, and a glazed door with a fanlight. The left side of the building is roughcast, while there is a brick extension to the right that has a half-hipped roof.
