Description
The Wheatsheaf Inn is a 2-storey public house with a 4-window front made of scribed render and timber framing, featuring a plinth and a lean-to on the left side. It has a hipped slate roof with bracket eaves, modern skylights, and a rubble chimney stack. The building includes small pane sash windows, mostly with 12 panes (only 3 on the first floor), and paired modern windows on the ground floor to the right. There is a 6-panel door located off centre to the left, and a 6-pane sash window at the left end above the roughcast lean-to, which also has sash windows. The rear has undergone modern alterations. Inside, the interior is largely altered but still has a rubble fireplace with a timber lintel on the ground floor.
