Description
The Seven Stars is a two-storey building with an attic, featuring a three-window rubble front that has an overlap of render from the adjacent No 12 on the left. It has a steep stone tile roof that extends slightly over No 12, with a rubble chimney stack on the left and a brick stack on the right, along with boarded eaves. The building includes three swept roof dormers with small pane casement windows. The first floor has 12-pane sash windows, while the ground floor has modern windows, all of which are topped with timber lintels. A stone bracketed hood is positioned over the central entrance, which contains a four-panel door.
The right end of the building is made of rubble and features small pane windows, including one horned sash. The rear has been modernised with an extension. Internally, substantial parts of the timber framed structure are visible, showcasing several post and panel partitions. There is a dog-leg staircase with thin newel posts, turned balusters, and a closed string, which has been altered above the first floor. The roof is five bays wide, with pegged trusses, a collar, and most of the beams removed.
