Description

The Nationwide Building Society is a 2-storey building featuring a rubble front divided into two parts, topped with slate roofs and brick chimney stacks. The right part has three windows and a central gable, while the left part has a slightly advanced taller two-window range. The building includes sash windows, primarily with small panes, some of which have timber lintels. There is a central 6-panel door with a fanlight in the right-hand range, along with an earlier 18th-century entrance offset to the left, which has a broad bracket hood and double doors. Additionally, there is a blocked basement opening in the left-hand range.
