Description

Montpelier is a three-storey building with a one-window painted brick front, featuring a slate roof and brick chimney stacks at the front verge. The bay windows, which were originally full height, have been altered to two-storey with sash windows that include glazing bars. The second floor has tripartite sashes. There are paired entrances at the centre, with a modern door for No 21 and a four-panel door for No 22.

Inside No 22, there is a studded partition wall that currently divides this property from West House, although it was originally an internal division. The interior also includes a Victorian dog-leg staircase.
