Description

The Poetry Bookshop is a three-storey building with a painted brick facade and a slate roof, topped by brick chimney stacks at the front. Originally featuring full-height bay windows, these have been altered to two stories and incorporate sash windows with glazing bars. Tripartite sash windows are present on the second floor. The central entrances are paired; one has a modern door, the other a four-panel door.

Inside No. 22, a studded partition wall remains, now separating the property from the adjacent West House. It originally formed an internal division within the building. A Victorian dog-leg staircase is also present.
