Description

54 Heol Maengwyn is a three-storey building dating from the early to mid 19th century. It features a two-window rubble front and has a slate roof, which has been renewed on the right side. The building has wide bracket eaves and a rubble chimney stack. The first and second floors have small pane sash windows with marginal glazing bars, while the ground floor has later splayed bay windows. There is a central boarded door.

The left-hand gable end is partly cement rendered, with a projecting chimney breast that suggests this building was once part of a terrace that continued to the left, although the chimney stack has been cut down. The right-hand side is also rendered and contains two sash windows along with modern glazed doors. At the rear, there is a small cross range with small pane sash windows.
