Description
46 Heol Maengwyn is an early 19th-century pair of three-storey buildings with gabled fronts, featuring one window each. The buildings have strapwork quoins and a plinth; No 46 is finished in painted render, while No 48 has painted cement render. They share slate roofs that continue with the adjoining properties, wide boarded eaves, and a blue brick chimney stack on No 48. Each gable displays quatrefoils. The windows are 12-pane sash types, with architraves on the second floor that include midrail bosses and stilted labels on the first floor. The shop front of No 46 extends from No 44 and includes a blind panelled band above a half-glazed door and shop window. No 48 features a 20-pane horned sash bow window next to a modern small pane glazed door, both sheltered by a shallow bracketed hood.
