Description

This is a Tudor Revival style, two-storey and attic, five-window house dating from the Tudor period. The exterior is constructed of rubble stone with a slate roof. A stone eaves course runs along the roofline, and there are chimney stacks and gable parapets finished with slate coping and kneelers. The gables are prominent on the central and end bays. The windows have diamond and lozenge-paned casement glazing, which has been replaced on the adjacent property at number 61. The windows on the ground and first floors are cross-framed. Matching glazing is found in the overlights above the six-panel doors; numbers 61 and 63 share a paired doorway. Number 65’s door is paired with a boarded double-doored opening leading to a through passage. The cellar openings are defined by brick voussoirs.
