Description
73 and 75 North Street are a pair of houses built in the early 19th century. They have rendered fronts, and the upper storeys are likely timber-framed. The houses feature a slated roof and a rendered chimney on the right gable end. They stand three storeys tall, with each house having one window per storey and centrally located doors on the ground floor. The door of No 75 has four moulded top panels, with the lower part covered by a 20th-century panel. Flanking pilasters support an entablature that continues across No 73, with a third pilaster at the left-hand end, suggesting there may have once been a shop front there. The windows are 6-paned sashes, with the second storey window at No 75 and the third storey windows at both houses featuring bracketed sills. The eaves have a boxed cornice.
