Description

The Great Bridge is a bridge that crosses the River Ashburn, likely built in the 18th century. It is constructed from stone rubble and features a single span with a segmental arch on both sides, which is made up of dressed voussoirs and raised keystones. The bridge has parapets topped with copings made of roughly-shaped blocks.
